This coming Saturday the Elmira Maple Syrup festival will take place in Elmira! I love the Elmira Maple Syrup festival. There is so much to

do. A couple of my favourite foods  at the festival are the pancakes, apple fritters, back bacon on a bun and of course the maple syrup. The festival starts early in the morning and goes until mid to late afternoon. It always surprises me how many people fill up the downtown area.

If you are a first timer to the event I recommend a sugar bush tour as well as the pancake breakfast. Be prepared to eat. There is lots of different food options that will put you into a food coma!!

I try to go the festival every year and I always have a good time. All the vendors are there bright and early and don’t stop until late afternoon.

There are also many of fun events during the day. I already mentions the sugar bush tour but there are other events such as the Birds of Prey show, Old MacDonald’s farm, Quilt and Craft show, Toy show and Sale, Antique and Collectibles show, Pancake flipping contest, Saw a Log, Pony rides, train rides and much more.
